James Tynion IV teased his plans for the upcoming issues of Batman, including the debit of a new villain: Punchline.

In a newsletter written by  Tynion IV, the Batman writer posted a photo of the cover of Batman #92, which features a never-before-seen character. "Who is this character on the amazing Yasmine Putri BATMAN #92 cover?!" he wrote.

Tynion IV then shared the sketch of the character, which was designed by Jorge Jimenez.

However, just because she is on the cover of Batman #92 does not mean that will be her first appearance. "But WHEN does she appear for the first time? Is it BATMAN #89? Is it YEAR OF THE VILLAIN: HELL ARISEN #3?" Tynion IV teased. "Am I writing her origin story in the JOKER 80th Anniversary Special? Is she Joker’s new girlfriend? Is she a part of JOKER WAR??! Who the heck IS this Punchline, and why does she want to stab everyone?!?!?!?!?!?!"

Tynion IV's run with Batman began with Batman #86 on Jan. 8. His first story arc, "Their Dark Designs," will run from #86-#94. His second arc, "Joker War," will start with #95.
