Bruce Wayne is sure to have his hands full in Matt Reeves' The Batman, as it appears even more foes are being added to the list of villains already set to appear in the DC film.New images were shared on Twitter by BATSOURCE, who said, "Apparently these are set photos for a second unit scene for Batman." The photos show a man being swarmed by a group of thugs all wearing black-and-white face paint, and while it's unclear who they work for, that color scheme is certainly evocative of The Penguin.

In addition to The Penguin, other members of Batman's rogues gallery set appear in the film include The Riddler and Carmine Falcone. Catwoman is also confirmed for The Batman, though it remains to be seen if she too will be a villain or if Reeves will instead take a cue from recent comics and have her portrayed as a love interest.

The set photos come hot on the heels of the first look at Robert Pattinson in the Batsuit. However, while that was merely test footage, fans can likely expect a better glimpse of the new Caped Crusader in the coming months.
