DC's acclaimed comic book story Batman: The Long Halloween has just unveiled the opening scene of the first half of its animated adaptation, pitting Bruce Wayne into a shadowy meeting.

In Carmine Falcone's penthouse office overlooking Gotham City, the crime lord evokes the relationship between Bruce's parents and the Falcone family in an effort to garner Bruce's support with his syndicate. A stoic Bruce is more focused on the cityscape than his host, intoning that he believes in Gotham City.
