Batman Gets Into the Holiday Spirit in New Lego Movie 2 Short

Lego Batman Holiday

A holiday short to promote the upcoming release of Warner Animation Group's The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part has arrived—and it's everything fans of  The LEGO Movie fans could hope for.

In Emmet's Holiday Party, the gang's all hanging out in Apocalypseburg, a barren Mad Max-esque wasteland. Chris Pratt's Emmet is excited for the approaching holidays, while Elizabeth Banks' Lucy is on the lookout for trouble and wants nothing to do with his shenanigans. And Will Arnett's Batman is busy ice skating while drinking his beloved "sweet nectar of joy," eggnog.

As the clip above shows, Emmet gets his wish and throws an amazing holiday blow-out complete with a tree with enough lights to be visible from space, as he proudly explains. The tree is so spectacular that it makes Batman cry even though he swears he favors the dark.

Also, Unikitty vomits glitter, a threatening spaceship adds a star to the tree and Batman pouts over the number of abs sewn into his sweater as a seasonal version "Everything is Awesome" plays in the background.
