DC's Batman series will get a new artist as well as a new writer at the end of its "City of Bane" storyline.

Artist Jorge Jiménez announced earlier today that he will join James Tynion IV run on the popular DC Comics title. While Tynion is no stranger to titles starring the Dark Knight, this will mark Jiménez's first run starring the character.

Jiménez's portfolio for DC is a rather lengthy one, with stops on titles such as NightwingSuper SonsSuperman, Earth 2, and Deathstroke. Most notably, however, is Jiménez's work alongside Eisner award-winner and former Batman writer Scott Snyder on Justice League. Jiménez and Tynion will also be joined by Tomeu Morey, marking their first time working together as well. Ben Abernathy will serve as editor on the series.

Jiménez's first pencils on the title will come with the release of Batman #90. Jiménez will be part of a revolving team of artists on the title, including Guillem March and Tony Daniel. Batman will continue to be released bi-weekly.
