DC Comics has played with various alternate realities in the past, from Communist Superman to a Wild West Wonder Woman, but from the looks of the latest Variant Play Arts KAI Line figurine, some lines just shouldn't be crossed.

A Batman/Joker hybrid design was recently unveiled on the Square Enix online store, and, boy, is it a doozy. Created by Hitoshi Kondo, the collectible features a straitjacket-turned-cape, prop gun and playing cards, among other accessories.

The product description notes that, "the pale skin and bloodshot eyes accentuate his eerie quality, while his trademark purple and green lend dark shadows to his coloring. The bat mark roughly painted on his chest can almost be construed as a laughing mouth. It seems to make a mockery of Batman, offering a glimpse into how The Joker's twisted mind ticks."

If that wasn't enough, Variant Play Arts also offers up a terrifying Two-Face/Batman combination...but we'll let you check out that one on your own. Anyone who doesn't mind these things staring at them from their shelf while they sleep can pick either up for $199.99. A less creepy, although probably still pretty intense, Batman can next be seen in the "Justice League" film which hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
