A major event has been promised to happen in James Tynion IV's Batman story taking place in DC's Infinite Frontier #0.
A section of Tynion's latest email newsletter teased details regarding the catastrophic shakeup coming to Gotham in 2021. "Something BIG happens in the Batman-centric pages of Infinite Frontier that serves as the inciting incident for the entire Batman line," Tynion said. "Another pillar of classic Gotham falls and sets all the pieces in motion." He ended the tease by stating, "In 2021, Gotham City is going to E-X-P-L-O-D-E."
Infinite Frontier #0 paves the way for the new DC Universe in 2021 and beyond. The issue is helmed by creators including Scott Snyder, Geoff Johns, Becky Cloonan, James Tynion IV, Joelle Jones, Alitha Martinez, John Romita Jr. and more, and features the new creative teams for Superman, Action Comics, Batman, Nightwing, The Joker and more.
