As Seth Meyers quickly discovered last night on NBC's Late Night, Gotham City residents are really, really tired of being asked about Batman.

In an effort to get to know his audience, the talk-show host singled out Jeremy and, um, Jeremy, a pair of tourists from Gotham -- yes, the Gotham City -- who quickly set him straight on the subject of the Caped Crusader.

"Surprise, surprise, he wants to talk about Batman," an annoyed Jeremy 2 says in response to the obvious question. "Seth, Batman isn't really a big deal to us. He's like that Naked Cowboy guy in Times Square. He's nothing more than a tourist attraction."

Besides, the city has much more to recommend than Batman -- its public school system, its 5k fun run, its ... well, don't dwell too much on the botanical gardens, or the Summertramp series. Any while we're on the subject, it's probably best to avoid asking for directions to Gotham ...
