Batman-Inspired Steph Curry Sneakers Could Make You the MVP -- or Dark Knight

As the Golden State Warriors look to clinch their second consecutive NBA Title this weekend against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Under Armour has revealed a Batman-inspired edition of current MVP Steph Curry's signature shoe. The "Black Knight" Curry 2 sneakers will be available this weekend, maybe just in time to give the point guard a little extra superpower.

As Sole Collector reported, the new run of shoes -- while not officially licensed by DC Comics -- feature a color scheme that definitely calls to mind Batman's outfit, particularly that of 1989 film directed by Tim Burton. The black sneakers feature yellow accents on the soles, tongue and laces, along with a mesh fabric resembling the Justice League member's own costume. The inside of the tongue is also emblazoned with a design very similar to the Bat Signal, swapping Gotham City for the Golden Gate Bridge and the signal itself for Curry's initial.

Curry 2 "Black Knight" editions will be available June 11 online, at Under Armour brand stores, and selected retailers for $130. Batman may opt for more tactical gear for crime-fighting, but perhaps Bruce Wayne could use a pair during his off-days.
