Batman Incorporated will fully reform in a new series from DC later this year.

CBR can exclusively reveal that DC is debuting a new Batman Incorporated series this fall from writer Ed Brisson and artist John Timms. "Spinning out of the pages of Batman and Shadow War comes a reconstituted Batman Incorporated!" DC said about the new series.

Created by Grant Morrison, Cameron Stewart and Frazer Ivan, Batman Incorporated first appeared in 2010's Batman and Robin #16. The group was formed after Bruce Wayne/Batman returned from the events of the 2008 Final Crisis crossover event and decided to create a global crimefighting squadron full of superheroes from various countries. The group was publically financed by Bruce Wayne, himself, and initially included members such as Knight, Squire, Jiro Osamu and more.

Following the 2011 Batman Incorporated: Leviathan Strikes! one-shot, Batman Incorporated returned for the New 52 era in a new 2012 Batman, Incorporated series from Morrison and artist Chris Burnham. The series ran for 13 issues before a final Batman Incorporated Special #1 was published in 2013. The Batman Incorporated Special #1 features cover art by Burnham and Nathan Fairbairn, which is where the artwork attached to this story originates from.

In Batman #118 (by Joshua Williamson, Jorge Molina, Mikel Janín, Tomeu Morey, and Clayton Cowles), DC revealed Lex Luthor bought Batman Inc. after Wayne lost most of his fortune. Operating under Luthor's much more violent agenda, the new Batman Inc. team included members such as El Gaucho, Man-of-Bats, Bat-Man of China and more.

Batman Incorporated made its way into the Shadow War crossover in Robin #13 by Joshua Williamson, Roger Cruz, Norm Rapmund, Luis Guerrero and Troy Peteri. Needing someone to protect Deathstroke from Talia al Guhl and her assassins while Batman and Damian search for Ra's real killer (revealed to be Geo-Force in Robin #14), Bruce calls in some extra re-enforcements that are "a bit outside the box." The group continues to play a prominent role within Shadow War, as Batman Incorporated proceeds to fight alongside the Dark Knight against Deathstroke, Angelbreaker and Talia in Deathstroke Inc. #9 and Robin #14.

The Shadow War event will conclude on May 31 with Shadow War: Omega #1. The synopsis for the issue reads, "THE SHADOW WAR'S EPIC CONCLUSION! The shocking finale of the Shadow War! Lives have been lost. Heroes and villains have fallen in battle. And now the real mastermind behind the Shadow War has been revealed. But they are far from done! Batman and Robin are all that's left to put a stop to their real plans. Can the father-and-son duo work together to save the day? Events in this issue lead directly into DC's next big summer event!"

The new Batman Incorporated launches in October from DC.
