We now know when Batman: Hush will be released on the DC Universe streaming service.In a tweet from the official DC Universe streaming service, it was announced that the newest DC animated feature will be hitting the service on August 13.

Those without a subscription to DC Universe can still expect to purchase Batman: Hush on DVD or Blu-ray, though it's unconfirmed when the movie will arrive on other media formats.

Batman: Hush is based on the storyline of the same name, written by Jeph Loeb, penciled by Jim Lee, inked by Scott Williams and colored by Alex Sinclair. It ran from Batman #608-619.

DC Universe has recently expanded its comic book catalog to include several Gold and Silver Age comics. It's also expanded its original content with Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing and the animated Harley Quinn series.

Directed by Justin Copeland, Batman: Hush stars Jason O'Mara, Jennifer Morrison, Jerry O'Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Rainn Wilson, Sean Maher, Bruce Thomas, Stuart Allen, James Garrett, Maury Sterling, Geoffrey Arend, Vanessa Williams, Jason Spisak, Adam Gifford, Dachie Alessio, Peyton List and Tara Strong. The film arrives on DVD, Blu-ray and digital this summer and on DC Universe August 13.
