Harley reports for duty in the first trailer for Batman and Harley Quinn, the upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie directed by Bruce Timm.
Debuting on Entertainment Weekly, the trailer confirms the details of the plot, which sees Batman and Nightwing forced to enlist the aid for Harley Quinn in their pursuit of Poison Ivy and the Floronic Man.
The footage hints at details of Ivy and the Floronic Man's scheme, as it shows them breaking into S.T.A.R. Labs to access top-secret computer files on Dr. Alec Holland, better known as Swamp Thing, which apparently leads to the creation of "no ordinary leafy mouse, but the harbinger of a new age." As you might suspect, that "new age" isn't good news for humanity.
Batman and Harley Quinn reunites Kevin Conroy and Loren Lester as the voices of the Dark Knight and Nightwing, joined by Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) as Harley Quinn, Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) as Poison Ivy and John DiMaggio (Futurama) as Swamp Thing, with Eric Bauza, Rob Paulsen, Robin Atkin Downes, Mindy Sterling and Trevor Devall.
The animated film will be available this summer on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
