WB Games Montréal released a trailer for its new Batman video game at DC FanDome called Gotham Knights.

"From vigilantes to heroes," text reads. "From heroes to knights." The title is then revealed as Gotham Knights, coming in 2021, as we see a final stinger teasing the Court of Owls, complete with a comic book-accurate nursery rhyme about The Talon.

WB Games Montréal has been teasing a Court of Owls game for quite some time now. In December 2018, Valerie Vezina, an assistant producer for the studio, posted a picture of a shirt with a logo that looks remarkably similar to that of the Court of Owls in the comics. Then, in January 2019, possible concept art for the game was posted online before quickly being taken down.

Created by Snyder and Capullo, the Court of Owls first appeared in 2011's Batman #3 as a secret society formed by some of Gotham's oldest and most elite families that uses nigh unkillable assassins known as Talons.

Based in Montréal, Quebec, WB Games Montréal was responsible for Batman: Arkham Origins, the third installment of the Batman: Arkham video game series and the only one not developed by Rocksteady Studios.
