Production on Warner Bros. and DC Films' The Flash has come to standstill following an accident involving a Batman stunt double, the Batcycle and a camera operator.

According to Glasgow Live, the double was driving the Batcycle while a camera operator followed on a motorcycle of their own. However, the crew member wound up colliding with the Batcycle and sliding underneath the vehicle. "The camera man on a bike was chasing the Batman motorbike and went under it," a witness said.

The crew member was reportedly transported to the hospital via ambulance. The extent of their injuries has not yet been made public.

The Batcycle was recently spotted in a batch of leaked set photos featuring what appeared to be a double for Ben Affleck's Batman, who was confirmed for The Flash in August 2020. "He's a very substantial part of the emotional impact of the movie," director Andy Muschietti said at the time. "The interaction and relationship between Barry and Affleck's Wayne will bring an emotional level that we haven't seen before. It's Barry's movie, it's Barry's story, but their characters are more related than we think. They both lost their mothers to murder, and that's one of the emotional vessels of the movie. That's where the Affleck Batman kicks in."

The Flash races into theaters Nov. 4, 2022.
