As a prequel to 2010's Batman: Under the Red Hood, the upcoming DC Animated Movie Batman: Death in the Family revisits and remixes key moments from the earlier animated film through the choices audiences make.

An exclusive advance clip from Death in the Family changes a key scene from Under the Red Hood: Like the earlier animated movie, Batman and Jim Gordon investigate a lethal enforcer killing criminals at the docks only to be observed by Jason Todd as a variation on Hush instead of Red Hood.

While the Dark Knight finds Jason's discarded sniper rifle on top of nearby shipping containers and an "R" scrawled into them, Jason notes that the only thing criminals and Batman truly fear is a Batman "unchained from his self-imposed moral leash."

With multiple endings and wildly divergent narrative paths, Death in the Family is poised to change audiences' expectations of Under the Red Hood to develop a true interactive experience for viewers as they decide what the Bat-Family will do next at crucial story points.

Produced, written and directed by Brandon Vietti, Batman: Death in the Family stars Bruce Greenwood, John DiMaggio, Vincent Martella, Zehra Fazal and Gary Cole. It is set for release Oct. 13 on Blu-ray and digital HD.
