This past Saturday, fans across the world celebrated Batman Day. This year's Batman Day in particular was also a special one, as 2019 marks the 80th anniversary of the Dark Knight's first appearance in 1939's Detective Comics #27. In honor of that momentous day, HBO Asia celebrated in its own bizarre way: by doing a mash-up of the Caped Crusader and the 2018 film Crazy Rich Asians.Uploaded onto HBO Asia's Twitter, the video features CRA character Nick Young (Henry Golding) telling the Ben Affleck version of Batman -- whose face is superimposed over that of Rachel Chu (Constance Wu)--that wherever he is in the world, that's where Nick belongs, while the words "Happy Batman Day" loom overhead. In another bit of comedic oddness, Nick also has the word "Me" covering part of his face, indicating that he's a stand-in for fans.RELATED: NYC's Empire State Building Will Go Yellow for Batman Day

The video ends with Batman crying at Nick's heartfelt words. Above the video, HBO Asia declares its own love for Batman, including both a bat emoji and the hashtag #HappyBatmanDay in the statement.

Silliness aside, HBO Asia weren’t the only ones to celebrate Batman Day in a unique fashion on Twitter. All Elite Wrestling's Cody Rhodes proclaimed the Masked Manhunter was #AllElite in a tweet later that same day.
