Batman writer Tom King shared a sneak peek from an upcoming issue of the comic on Twitter. Presumably from January's issue #63 -- or at least from the same story arc -- the panel finds Bruce Wayne in something of a compromising position in front of everyone's favorite supernatural detective John Constantine.

The panel in question, which comes from artist Mikel Janin and colorist Jordie Bellaire, shows Bruce Wayne in the bathroom wearing only a towel while Constantine hangs out in the background, having a smoke while seated on the toilet.

An awkward scene, to be sure, but it's beyond tame compared to what these characters are currently up to in the Batman: Damned continuity.

"There are strange goings-on in the dark alleys of Gotham City, mysteries that will require a different skill set than the Caped Crusader's if he's going to stop the whole city from succumbing to darkness," according to the official synopsis for Batman #63. "John Constantine, the Hellblazer, is a person with just those skills -- but after the events of 'The Witching Hour,' is Constantine in any condition to help the Dark Knight Detective?"

Written by Tom King with art by Mikel Janin, Batman #63 hits comic book shops on January 23, 2019.
