WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Batman Beyond #50, by Dan Jurgens, Sean Chen, Sean Parsons, Chris Sotomayor and Travis Lanham, on sale now.

Batman Beyond #50 ended the series' current run and sets up Terry McGinnis and the Bat-Family of the future for even more grand adventures. This sentiment was echoed by Wonder Woman as she assured Terry that he is welcome to join the future incarnation of the Justice League as Batman. Since this is far from the end of Batman Beyond's story, let's take a look at where the current run left the Bat-Family and how they're poised to hop back into action in the future.

Terry McGinnis

Batman Beyond Wonder Woman

As Bruce Wayne continues to settle into old age, Terry continues to take on larger roles within Neo-Gotham. After dealing with Inque in a rather clever fashion that also spared her life, Wonder Woman was convinced that Terry was worthy of the Justice League's open Batman position. Until this point, Terry has been rooted in Neo-Gotham and the scope of his job will change greatly once he becomes part of the Justice League. It will be interesting to see the kind of role Terry takes in the League, as his Batman brings a different mindset and skill level to the job than Bruce Wayne did when he wore the mantle.

Dick and Elainna Grayson

Dick Grayson and his Daughter Elainna fulfilled Nightwing's legacy together. Elainna stole the future Bat-suit in Terry's absence to defeat Blight and was stubborn in her reluctance to stop her training. Dick allowed Barbara Gordon to train his daughter and as the final nod of approval, gave her the blue and black Nightwing colors. Elainna was crucial in helping Terry defeat Zehro and the League of Assassins during "The Eradication Agenda" story arc.

Barbara Gordon

Barbara Gordon retired as the Neo-Gotham's Police Commissioner and took on an even more important role, training Neo-Gotham's future Batwoman. Barbara Gordon is one of the Bat-Family's most loyal members and is transferring all of her skills and knowledge to the future generations.

Damian Wayne

Damian Wayne has had quite the character development throughout this latest run of Batman Beyond. At one point he was trying to kill Terry McGinnis and eventually asked him for his help to destroy Zehro's rogue League of Assassins. Damian was last seen shaking hands with his father and vowing to combine his resources with Bruce's to make the world a better place. Damian is a powerful ally for Terry and will likely be called into action again in the future.

Matt McGinnis

With Terry entrenched in the Bat-Family and in all probability the Justice League, it's easy to imagine his little brother Matt donning the equally iconic Robin outfit before too long. It would be awesome to see him fight alongside his brother and would bring a brand new dynamic to the Batman and Robin team that has been seen throughout the years.
