NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service continues to grow. The network announced this week that Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are among the movies that will exit HBO Max in the near future. Both films will soon be available on Peacock in the next six months.

The first two installments of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy are Warner Bros. titles and have been a big draw for DC Comics fans to subscribe to HBO Max. However, The Verge notes that Warner Bros. signed a new TV rights deal with NBCUniversal back in 2016. As part of the reportedly $250 million deal, the Harry Potter films -- another big Warner Bros. property -- are also headed to Peacock in October.

Other titles coming to Peacock over the next six months include The Big Lebowski, Catwoman, Dawn of the Dead, Beetlejuice and the first three installments of the Bourne film series. Peacock is currently available to stream on Apple, Google and Android devices.

The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008, has been lauded as one of the best superhero films of all time. Warner Bros.' next Batman film, simply titled The Batman, stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard and arrives in theaters Oct. 1, 2021.
