A new figurine from McFarlane Toys depicts Elainna Grayson's Batwoman unmasked and ready to battle the villains of Batman Beyond's Neo-Gotham.

MacFarlane Toys' Batwoman Unmasked figure, which retails for $19.99, is "designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing and play" and includes alternate hands, two blasters, a batarang, a base and a collectible art card that features Elainna's biography on the back.

According to the toy's description, "when Batman (Terry McGinnis) disappears after losing his memory and having his identity stolen by False Face, Dick Grayson’s daughter Elainna tracks down the Bat suit and takes it for herself. Going against her father's wishes, she then becomes Neo-Gotham’s newest Super Hero, but does her best to keep her identity a secret from him. Eventually, her father finds out, but it’s too late, the city has a new protector: Batwoman!"

Elainna Grayson is the daughter of Dick Grayson, known as Batman's former sidekick, Nightwing. She first appeared in 2018's Batman Beyond #25 (written by Dan Jurgens, illustrated by Cully Hamner, Marco Santucci and Val Staples) and went on to become Batwoman after Terry McGinnis suffered amnesia and had his identity stolen by the villain False Face.

MacFarlane Toys' Batwoman Unmasked figurine isn't the only Batman toy that is forthcoming to the delight of superhero fans. Sideshow Collectibles recently unveiled a 31.5" statue that recreates the iconic cover of Frank Miller and Lynn Varley's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1 (1986), MacFarlane Toys is releasing tie-in figures of Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing and Red Hood for the upcoming game Gotham Knights and a dozen different Funko Pop! figures for Matt Reeves' The Batman were recently leaked online.

There have also been multiple developments in the Batman multimedia franchise beyond just toys. Most notably, Reeves' film is set to make its theatrical debut on March 4 and a new promo showcases how Batman and Catwoman make "one helluva duet."  Moreover, comic writer and artist Sean Gordon Murphy is set to continue with his unique vision of the world of the Dark Knight with Batman: Beyond the White Knight, which is set for release this year. The story will pick up after his previous White Knight storylines and will see Terry McGinnis join the action.

Pre-orders for the Batwoman Unmasked figure are currently available through McFarlane Toys' Store, GameStop, Target and Entertainment Earth. The figures are expected to ship sometime in March.
