Batman Runs an Assassin Gauntlet on New Creative Team Covers

James Tynion IV kicks off his run as the new writer on the main Batman comic book series this January and DC Comics has released the main covers and advance solicitation information for the upcoming runs first two issues.

Joined by the veteran art team of Tony S. Daniel and Danny Miki, Tynion's run teases the return of Deathstroke, Cheshire and Merlyn to Gotham as the Dark Knight attempts to pick up the pieces from his epic conflict with Bane, potentially becoming an unlikely protector to the Riddler in the process. Replacing Tom King, who had written the first 85 issues of the DC Rebirth era for the series, Tynion had previously relaunched Detective Comics for DC Rebirth as well as serve as the current co-writer on Justice League before taking the Batman gig.
