"Batman: Arkham City" Gets Harley Quinn DLC Next Week, new edition in May

Harley Quinn is not happy. After seeing what kind of damage Batman dished out on the Joker in "Batman: Arkham City," she's decided to take matters into her own hands and seek revenge, using a big mallet to get the point across.

As previously hinted in a list of PS3 Trophies, WB Games and Rocksteady Studios confirmed today a new downloadable content pack for "Batman: Arkham City," titled "Harley Quinn's Revenge," will be available starting next week for around $6.99 (or 560 Microsoft points). She'll fight her way through a series of missions, earning trophies such as "How's It Hanging?" (where you clean up the Dry Docks) and "Breaking and Entering" (where she finds a way into a secret base). No word yet if the DLC will include a face-off against Batman, but that would certainly make things interesting.

For those who haven't yet experienced the downloadable content that the game has to offer, WB Games is also offering a second chance for players to get their hands on it. On May 29, it releases "Batman: Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition." In this pack, players can experience the full game as it was released last October as well as all included downloadable content, including missions with Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing and Harley Quinn, along with a digital download of the animated film "Batman: Year One." The game is expected to sell for $59.99.

Really, if you haven't experienced it before, you won't find a better time. This game is sensational -- and with Harley Quinn on the prowl, it's only getting better.

"Harley Quinn's Revenge" debuts next week on PlayStation Network and XBox Live. "Batman: Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition" hits stores May 29.
