WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Batman #94 by James Tynion IV, Guillem March, Rafael Albuquerque, David Baron and Clayton Cowles, available now.

Batman #93 was a difficult issue for the Dark Knight. After finally facing the Designer, he deduced the villain was nothing but a puppet controlled by the Joker, only to realize too late that the Clown Prince of Crime had stolen the entire Wayne family fortune.

On top of that, following Joker's commands, Deathstroke stabbed Batman in the leg, taking him out of commission until the start of the upcoming Joker War. However, the issue wasn't just a showcase of Batman's latest failure at the hands of his greatest enemy: Catwoman also suffered a terrible loss.

Selina Kyle led Harley Quinn to the Underbroker's establishment to secure Bruce's money into her own account but she, too, was tricked. She led the Joker and his new girlfriend Punchline straight to the bank accounts they were looking for. Then, Punchline shot her.

Now, Catwoman is wounded and on the run -- but thankfully, she still has a friend who's willing to help her hide.

Batman Cool Room

In Batman #94, Selina is in the hospital, getting treated for her gunshot wound. After a quick phone call with Batman, Selina falls unconscious from the pain. When she wakes up again, she's no longer in the hospital. Instead, she finds herself receiving treatment in one of The Penguin's private rooms. What's more, Oswald Cobblepot is there waiting for her. He explains the Joker's goons were sweeping the hospital floors looking for her and he arranged to have her moved in order to save her life.

Penguin and Catwoman may not exactly be best friends, but they have a professional relationship as Gotham City criminals that extends to respect and common courtesy. After Selina reveals that the Designer was simply a guise for the Joker, Penguin gives Catwoman entry into his own private lounge: the Cool Room.

The Cool Room is essentially a safe house for Gotham's criminals overseen by Cobblepot. It's an ice-themed bar where supervillains can get a drink, place bets and relax in safety. Already, the Penguin's Cool Room is harboring Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Professor Pyg, Firefly, Killer Croc and Tiger Shark. Catwoman is the latest on a long list of invitees.

Although Catwoman says she needs to get back out there to help Batman, Penguin explains that no one is getting out of the Cool Room -- not while the Joker is currently running around Gotham, prepping for an all-out war. The safest place they can be right now is in this safe house, where they can sit out the Clown Prince of Crime's next attack.

However, it also kind of looks like the Penguin has assembled a powerful army. With the Joker War coming up very soon, Oswald and the Cool Room (perfect name for a band) may find themselves involved -- whether they want to be or not.
