Ever since Disney acquired Fox, eager fans have been speculating and fantasizing about how Marvel Studios will reintroduce the X-Men and which actors would best suit them. Among the most prominent names has been Taron Egerton, known for his work in the Kingsmen film series as well as Rocketman. Much of the Internet has seemingly agreed that the young actor would make for a great Wolverine, and at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association event, Egerton was asked by Variety about his thoughts on playing the mutant hero in the MCU. The actor simply stated, "I think I love Marvel and I love the movies and I'd love the excuse to get in shape and I'd love to be a part of it. I mean, whether [Wolverine's] realistic or not - I don't know."RELATED: Feige Believes, One-On-One, This Avenger Could Have Defeated Thanos

Jackman played Logan for more than a decade, from his first appearance in 2000's X-Men to his final performance as Wolverine in 2017's Logan.
