Evan and Brendar begin their dangerous quest in an exclusive clip from an episode of Nickelodeon's The Barbarian and the Troll.

The clip picks up as the musical bridge troll Evan (played by Drew Massey of Mutt & Stuff and Sid the Science Kid) is given the opportunity to join Brendar (Spencer Grammer of Rick & Morty) on her quest across Gothmoria. However, Brendar quickly regrets letting Evan join her as he is quickly caught in the middle of a spider web. "It's not my fault giant spiders leave their webs everywhere," Evan says in defense. "There should be a law."

After chopping Evan down with her ax, Brendar beings to explain to him how Gothmoria is a dangerous place, and he can't walk around with his heads in the clouds. Unfortunately, once Brendar turns around she discovers that Evan is once again caught in another spider web. "Tastes like spider-flavored chewing gum," Brendar's ax says. The clip ends with Evan in another dangerous predicament when he's eaten by a hungry tree.

In the premiere of The Barbarian and the Troll, Evan the troll decides to burn his bridge and venture out into the world of Gothmoria for the first time to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a singer. He soon meets Brendar, who had been expelled from the Royal Order of Warrior Princesses and is now known as a “feared and revered” barbarian. After Evan convinces Brendar to bring him on her quest to vanquish the evil demon, they cross treacherous terrain to confront bizarre and magical creatures and encounter an eclectic puppet cast of wacky characters.
