Former President of the United States Barack Obama revealed which shows he's been watching during the pandemic and which ones he likes to view when unwinding.

Obama told EW that The Boys and Watchmen were two of his favorite shows in the past year, praising "how they turn superhero conventions on their heads to lay bare issues of race, capitalism, and the distorting effects of corporate power and mass media." Obama's praise of The Boys came on the heels of IMDb announcing it as its top television series of 2020.

In addition to The Boys and Watchmen, Obama called out the Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call Saul and the recently ended The Good Place as some of his go-to shows.

"Better Call Saul, because of its great characters and examination of the dark side of the American dream," he said. "The Good Place — it’s a wise and sweet combination of goofy comedy and big philosophical questions." He also added praise to his favorite sport, basketball, saying, "Oh, and the NBA playoffs — because it’s hoops!"
