Baltimore Comic-Con Announces Turner Appearance, Mary Jane Toon Tumbler

BALTIMORE, MD -- This year's Baltimore Comic-Con just keeps getting better and better. This past week, Michael Turner of Aspen Studios (Fathom, Civil War cover artist) and Bill Sienkiewicz (Daredevil/Electra: Love and War) have both confirmed that they will be attending the show. In addition, Bernard Chang and Shawn Chen from the BLVD Studios and Michael Golden and Keith Pollard have also confirmed their attendance.

Turner joins such new and already announced guests as Walt Simonson, Howard Chaykin, Erik Larsen, Mike Oeming, Mike Wieringo, George Perez, John Romita, Jr., John Romita Sr., Joe Quesada, Dan Didio, and TV's Hulk, Lou Ferrigno.

Exhibitors at the Baltimore Comic-Con include DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, Crusade Entertainment, AdHouse Books, Top Shelf Comix, Ape Entertainment, TwoMorrows Publishing, Archaia Studios Press, Insight Studios, ACTOR, the CBLDF, and many more. Among the many artists' alley inhabitants are Lightspeed Press, the creators of Elk's Run, Silent Devil, Digital Webbing, and High Noon Presents.

In addition to their previously announced exclusives, the Baltimore Comic-Con will also be the only location where a super cool glass tumbler, made with Marvel's blessing, features the most iconic image ever of Spidey's gal pal, Mary Jane. Paul Merolle of Toon Tumblers has also announced a special Harvey Kurtzman tumbler available to those buying dinner tickets for the Harvey Awards in Baltimore Saturday night.

The two-day Baltimore Comic-Con runs 10 AM to 6 PM Saturday and 10 AM to 5 PM Sunday at the Baltimore Convention Center. Tickets are available at the door or from Ticketmaster at the show website.
