Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back together again for Bad Boys For Life, and a new one-sheet poster shows the Miami police partners looking rather somber.

The poster features Will Smith's Mike Lowery and Martin Lawrence's Marcus Burnett side-by-side, each with a gun in their hands and their heads hanging low, so we can't see their faces. The familiar slogan, "Ride Together. Die Together." rests below the film's logo.

Bad Boys For Life is the third film in the Bad Boys franchise. Bad Boys debuted in 1995, followed by Bad Boys II in 2003. The second film brought in Gabrielle Union as Special Agent Sydney "Syd" Burnett, sister to Lawrence's Marcus Burnett. Union would go on to star in a spinoff TV series alongside Jessica Alba for the Spectrum Original series, L.A.'s Finest.

From the tone of the poster and the presence of the "Ride Together. Die Together." slogan, Bad Boys For Life certainly wants to make moviegoers and fans believe one of the fan-favorite stars won't make it out of the film alive.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a script written by Chris Bremner, Bad Boys For Life stars Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Paola Nunez, Kate Del Castillo, Nicky Jam and Joe Pantoliano. The film opens on Jan. 17, 2020.
