Actor Jerry Doyle, best known for his role on the 1990s sci-fi series "Babylon 5," has passed away. He was 60.
According to TMZ, he was found unresponsive Wednesday in his Las Vegas home. Doyle's family confirmed his death this morning on Twitter, saying the cause is unknown.
Doyle starred as security officer Michael Garibaldi in the 1993 TV movie “Babylon 5: The Gathering" and went on to appear on the television series, which aired from 1994 to 1998. He reprised the role in the 1999 TV movie "Babylon 5: A Call to Arms."
He later appeared on such shows as "Sliders," "Beverly Hills, 90210," "JAG" and "NYPD Blue," and launched a talk-radio career.
