Thanks to a new YouTube tutorial, you can now create your very own puppet version of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's" Baby Groot to hang out on your shoulder.

Caleb Kraft created a step-by-step video tutorial to show "Guardians of the Galaxy" fans how to create a tiny toy version of character. In order to show off his work, Kraft kept Groot perched on his shoulder throughout the video.

Kraft starts the assembly with a 3-D printed Groot character that is modeled off of the movie footage from the "Guardians" trailer. However, Kraft does mention that the 3-D character is not an ideal model because it is heavier. After printing out the character, Kraft cut off the head and used a drill to create a hole for the wire that would be used to mount the head and give it some lifelike swivel action.

The head is attached to the wire using a clothespin and hot glue. Then, the exposed wire is wrapped in fabric to mask the hinge. Using hot glue and velcro, Kraft was able to attach the Baby Groot puppet to a shoulder strap. Finally, he painted it to match the character design from the movie.

In February, Hot Toys announced the first in its line of "Guardians" figures, which includes a Rocket Raccoon with a tiny Baby Groot strapped to his shoulder. Fans can now achieve the same look using Kraft's method.

Written and directed by James Gunn, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2″ stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and franchise newcomer, Kurt Russell, who plays Star-Lord’s father – Ego, the Living Planet. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” arrives in theaters May 5.
