If you were born in the '90s, you probably have a fondness for both Pokémon and Power Rangers. You grew up watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers all the time, purchasing at least one Megazord in the process. The same goes for Pokémon. Everyone was swept up into the card crazy, even those who never actually played.

While both are amazing on their own, what would happen if you crossed the two over with each other? Instead of calling forth a zord, the Power Rangers called in their Pokémon compatriot? Both series never took themselves too seriously so, in a way, it could work out pretty well, especially if these fan art pieces are anything to go by.

10 Pokemon Beast Morphers

Kikomauriz's art has a very interesting clash in styles, one that usually will ruin a piece, the contrast between characters distracting from the art. That isn't the case here, the hyper-realism of the rangers making them look as if they were the live-action characters in a movie filled with lots of CGI creatures, somewhat like Detective Pikachu.

Meanwhile, the more cartoony look suits the Pokémon perfectly. If he'd tried to use the same realism with them, they wouldn't look right, stripping them of the aesthetic that makes Pokémon what they are.

9 Trainer Rangers

Most art in this crossover focuses on the Power Rangers interacting with the Pokémon. RAatNYSBA goes a different direction, instead showing the trainers taking up the suits and becoming rangers.

It's an interesting direction to take, as it looks like the Pokémon are the monsters of the week that the rangers have to take down. This would end up being an excellent show if anyone were willing to make a short series out of it. As for the art, it's not technically the best, but he does include a lot of the more known trainers, though not including Misty is a mistake.

8 Mighty Morphin Poké Rangers

This is the best take on the concept and one that you can actually get on a T-shirt by Batang 9tees. Here we see the various Pokémon donning the suits, ready to protect from the evils of Team Rocket. Could you imagine the ridiculous poses these five would strike right before they'd morph? That alone would be worth commissioning a show.

A perfect set of Pokémon was chosen as well. Outside of one, they are the exact colors they are from the game. More than anything, you have to love how happy they all look when suited up. Squirtle even has that smug little look he had when Ash found the Squirtle Squad in the show.

7 Suit Up

This is the second time a Fan art found its way onto a T-shirt, this design by Animeape. This design is far simpler than the others, only changing the logo on the rangers suits. Sometimes going the simpler route just works.

There's nothing eye-popping about any of these, but they find a way to stay true to both the Pokémon they represent (all being the right color) as well as the Rangers' battle garb. All the Pokémon seem ready for battle, Jigglypuff being the most amusing of the six, cheeks puffed out and ready to sing-song someone to death.

6 Gangs All Here

Otaviodsgn goes above and beyond with his design, not only including the rangers but both Zordon and Alpha as well. If that weren't enough, he includes the villains along with the heroes, completing the crossover circle.

The thing that jumps out right away is Jynx as Rita Repulsa. Never would have thought about combining the two, but they flow seamlessly together.  The rest are equally well-executed, Blastoise's blue ranger gaining bonus points for having his blasters attached to his shoulders. Can't have Blastoise without his cannons.

5 The Pose

This looks like it's straight out of a sentai, from the smiles on everyone's faces to the over-the-top posing. It wouldn't be a super sentai if there wasn't an elaborate group pose and Juriedduty doesn't disappoint in that regard. This reminds us of something the Ginyu force would do in Dragon Ball.

Posing aside, it's a cool look at what the Poké Rangers could look like outside of their gear. The colors don't really add up, having two black and red rangers, but there is a precedent for having two of the same color ranger before. Samurai is one Power Ranger team that springs to mind that has two reds.

4 Eevee Rangers

Mysterywhiteflame foregoes using the usual starter Pokémon and decides to go with Eevee and her eeveelutions instead. It's an interesting and cool decision to make as it puts all the rangers at roughly the same stature. The only eeveelutions left out are Sylveon and Leafeon, the latter of which would certainly be the Green Ranger.

It's nice to see Eevee get some love as they are always one of the more underrated Pokémon, even with them being the secondary star of the Let's Go series that released on the Nintendo Switch. They were always going to play second fiddle there to Pikachu, the series mascot.

3 Unmasked

Chikadee34 does what many have done on this list and throws the Pokémon into the ranger suits. What makes it unique is they decided to remove the helmets, showing off the smiling mugs of their cute little rangers. Charmander smiling and waving is adorable, as is Pikachu looking like he just saw a bunch of Christmas presents under the tree.

It's cool they changed up the alignment a little bit, including Mew as the pink ranger rather than Jigglypuff and Warturtle rather than Squirtle. The middle evolution is always so overlooked for the first generation starters.

2 Hitmoranger

The Insightful_Panda is the place to go if you want Poké Ranger stuff, he has more images than you can handle, enough to make at least four different versions of this same list. He also has one of the cutest logos you'll ever see, a happy panda dressed up as Sherlock Holmes.

As for the art, you can see the care and love he has for both franchises. The Hitmochan looks like he'd woke up one day and decided to throw on some armor. There's no doubt that he'd pack a bit more punch now.

1 Zords

The Insightful_Panda is also one of the only artists who try their hand at making the zords based around Pokémon. This one is just a taste as they have at least ten other combinations, just like the show in that regard. Nothing was more hype back in the day than seeing the rangers form the megazord.

What's a nice touch is they found Pokémon who actually fit the mold of the original Might Morphin zords rather than trying to shoehorn ones in (Pikachu) because of popularity. He may be the first to include the franchise's poster boy in very little of his art.
