The mythos of the Green Lantern Corps were already some of the most interesting parts of the DC Universe and that's before the Emotional Spectrum got introduced to the whole thing. Each color had an emotion tied to it and a Lantern Corps tied to said emotion. The Red Lantern Corps was tied to the emotion of rage and while they were long played as bad guys, heroes could be members of the Corps as well.

Over in the Marvel Universe, the Avengers are some of the greatest heroes in the Marvel Universe but some of them have been known to be rather angry and would actually make pretty good Red Lanterns. Let's take a look at some of those Avengers.

10 Daken

Daken stands in front of a wall of flames in Marvel Comics

The son of Wolverine, Daken acted as Norman Osborn's Wolverine in the Dark Avengers. There are some who would say he doesn't count as an Avengers because of his time on the villains' team, but it was still an Avengers team. Daken has held a lot of anger in his heart, mostly toward his father and while their relationship is okay nowadays, anger never fades.

Daken would make a great Red Lantern- much like his father, he's also been known to get into some berserker rages and his anger towards the world would make great fuel for the Red ring.

9 Norman Osborn

Norman Osborn led the Superhero Initiative after ending the Skrull threat during Secret Invasion, forming his own team of his Avengers. Spider-Man's arch-enemy, Osborn is known for being quite insane and driven by his hatred of Spider-Man and just about anyone else who stands in his way.

This rage makes him perfect for the Red Lantern Corps. Norman Osborn, over the years, has been defined by his hatred of his foes. That hatred would make him one of the deadliest Red Lanterns ever and his ambition would fuel him to try and take control of the Corps.

8 The Punisher

Punisher War Zone Comics

Most people wouldn't think of the Punisher as an Avenger, but he's recently been a member of the team known as the Savage Avengers. The Punisher is defined by his anger- anger at the criminals who killed his family, an anger that has fueled his war against crime in general. It's this anger that keeps him going; his war never ends.

A Red Lantern Punisher would be one of the most frightening beings to ever put on a Red Lantern Ring. He's already one of the most dangerous non-powered humans on the planet but with the power of the Red Lantern ring, he would just be one of the most dangerous humans, period.

7 Conan The Barbarian

Conan is another Savage Avengers alum. Hailing from the Hyborian Age, Conan was one of the most dangerous men of his time and when he came to the present, he was still one of the most dangerous men around. His time in the present wasn't long but he definitely made a splash with his savage ways.

A barbarian would make a perfect Red Lantern and Conan is the greatest warrior of his entire age, fueled by his rage. Power like the Red Lantern would give him would allow to conquer all he came across... well, even quicker than he already would have.

6 She-Hulk

She-Hulk is a member of the current roster of the Avengers. While she isn't known for bringing nearly as angry as her cousin, she's still a Hulk and powered by her rage, dangerous enough in her own right. She's also proven much better at controlling her rage and harnessing it but that makes her no less dangerous or powerful.

Even though she's more in control of herself than cousin, she'd still make a perfect Red Lantern. Gamma radiation brings out the anger in those it empowers and She-Hulk is no less a Hulk, making her an ideal Red Lantern.

5 Hulk

A very angry Hulk

Yeah, this one is a no brainer- if She-Hulk would be a great Red Lantern, the Hulk himself would be an even better one. The strongest one there is, the Hulk is known for his temper getting the best of him and going on destructive rampages. In the past, he's also been the Avengers' muscle in some of their most desperate battles and always welcome back on the team... as long as he can control himself.

It's almost too easy to say the Hulk would make a great Red Lantern. His whole thing is being a giant rage monster and if there's anything that makes one perfect to be a Red Lantern, it's being a giant rage monster.

4 Wolverine

Wolverine is the best there is at what he does and sometimes what he does is get really angry and cut through everyone who messes with him and his friends. Wolverine actually made a much better Avengers than most people thought he would, being more of a team player than he used to be in his olden days.

Wolverine has spent a long time learning to control his anger, but it's always there, bubbling under the surface and that anger would make him ideal for the Red Lantern Corps.

3 Hyperion

Hyperion hailed from an alternate Earth, one that was destroyed in the Incursions. Arriving in the 616 Marvel Universe, he became a member of the Avengers, using his titanic powers to help fight all enemies and try and find the cause of the Incursions and stop it. He didn't succeed but with his massive power, he made a perfect Avenger.

Bubbling under the surface of Hyperion was a reservoir of anger, one that stemmed from losing everything on his world and it's this anger that would make him an ideal Red Lantern.

2 Thor

The Norse God of Thunder, Thor is a founding Avengers and easily one of the most powerful members of the team. Wielding the hammer Mjolnir, he's one of the greatest warriors of Asgard and has fought to protect his adopted homeworld harder than most would have imagined.

Thor is another warrior fueled by the power of his anger. It's always there, bubbling under the surface, ready to come out. It makes him a powerful warrior and it would also make him one of the most powerful Red Lanterns to ever exist- armed with the power of the ring and Mjolnir, he'd be unstoppable.

1 Quicksilver

Marvel Comics Quicksilver Using His Powers To Run Super Fast

Quicksilver has always been something of a hothead, but there's actually a very good reason for that. Quicksilver's super-speed powers make the world seem like it's moving at a crawl to him and it annoys him relentlessly. Every interaction with people for him is excruciatingly slow, and it drives him crazy, stretching his patience well past its breaking point.

It's this what gives the Red Lantern ring the key to his him, his anger at the world and how slow it is, how much it annoys him, and tortures him. With his super speed and all of that rage, Quicksilver would quickly become one of the most dangerous Red Lanterns of them all.
