The Avengers Theme Gets the Heavy-Metal Bagpipe Cover You've Always Wanted

Though the Marvel movies have been accused of having forgettable musical scores, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has at least one exception: the Avengers theme. Following the theatrical release of Avengers: Infinity War, musician and YouTuber The Snake Charmer has taken this theme and performed a heavy-metal bagpipe cover of it.

Alan Silvestri composed the score for Avengers: Infinity War, which offers a return to themes he wrote for Captain America: The First Avenger and 2012's The Avengers. The memorable theme was used often in Infinity War's marketing material.

The Snake Charmer, AKA Archy Jay, is an Indian piper who has built a following by covering popular fandom theme songs, including Power Rangers, Powderpuff Girls and Game of Thrones. For her video covering the Infinity War score, she donned a Black Widow-inspired costume.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film is playing in theaters in everywhere.
