WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War.

When Avengers: Infinity War footage was screened over the summer at D23 Expo and Comic-Con International, fans not fortunate enough to be in attendance were left wondering how long they'd have to wait for a glimpse at the Marvel Studios film. Months later, they're still waiting, but newly leaked screenshots may signal the trailer's wide release is on the horizon.

The images, which are circulating on Twitter, show Scarlet Witch preparing to use her abilities, followed by a shot of Black Widow, Falcon and a bearded Captain America, with something (or someone) seemingly capturing their attention. Next is a look at Proxima Midnight, a member of Thanos' deadly Black Order, along with a shot of Falcon swooping in to hit her with an aerial dropkick.

The tweet containing the images has been removed from this story at the request of Disney.

When asked about the status of the trailer last month, Marvel Studios Co-President Louis D’Esposito attempted to appease eager fans by saying, "All I can say is that I love it and I hope all you feel the same. It’s currently being finished so it’s not ready yet."

According to those in attendance, the Infinity War footage screened at D23 and SDCC demonstrated Thanos’ might as he confronted members of both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy in his quest to complete his Infinity Gauntlet and attain infinite power. The final shot then put that power on display as Thanos used the Gauntlet to pull down an entire planet on the opposing heroes. Although the leaked images fail to show the Mad Titan himself, they do provide our best look at Proxima Midnight since the SDCC-exclusive Infinity War poster.
