The final Avengers: Infinity War dropped today, and it does a great job of showing off just about every major character who will be in the film. Curiously, though, it failed to either mention or show several of the heroes expected to factor into the battle against Thanos. Who is still missing, as we head into the final weeks before the movie hits theaters?

We've known for a while now that Clint Barton will appear in this film, however, Hawkeye has not been seen in any trailer to date. What's more, he's basically been absent from all marketing for the film, from posters to toy tie-ins. The Russos recently confirmed that Hawkeye will have "his own journey in this movie," but it's hard to get a sense of what that will be at this point. It has been rumored that he'll take up the identity of Ronin in Avengers 4, though many people still wonder if we will see his demise at some point in Infinity War.

Ant-Man has also been largely absent from the marketing of the movie, which seems odd considering Ant-Man and the Wasp will be the followup film in July. You would think Marvel would want to keep him in the public's mind, though after his role in Civil War, "surprise" appearances could end up being his thing. Given his unique powers, it's possible he has a very important role in the plot of the film, and Marvel doesn't want to give it away.

Since the downfall of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Captain America: Winter Solider, appearances by Nick Fury and Maria Hill in the MCU have been few and far between. In fact, the last time either were seen on the big screen was in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron. Samuel L. Jackson did offer his voice as part of the previous Avengers trailer, and both are expected to resurface at some point during the movie. However, it has yet to be determined what kind of role they will have here.

Following the events of Thor: Ragnarok, Asgard has been destroyed, and what's left of the Asgardian race is left adrift in space. We know that their vessel is attacked by Thanos at some point, leaving Thor floating out in the void before he meets the Guardians of the Galaxy, but what does this mean for the likes of Heimdall and Valkyrie? It's hard to think Idris Elba and Tessa Thompson would return to their roles just to be squashed in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Then again, that's exactly what happened to the Warriors Three, so...
