Following weeks of anticipation, and just a little teasing from directors Joe and Anthony Russo, we at long last know when to expect the second full-trailer for Avengers: Infinity War: Friday. For real.

The filmmakers made the announcement this afternoon with a brief teaser on their Instagram page, allowing fans to breathe a sigh of relief. Of course, now we can wonder when on Friday it will arrive.

Friday is also when advance tickets for the ensemble film are expected to go on sale, which is certainly no coincidence.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

The news of the trailer's debut date comes just two weeks after Marvel Studios moved Infinity War's worldwide release from May 4 to April 27. The film is receiving an additional promotional boost this week with the lifting of embargoes on interviews conducted last year on set with the directors and stars.
