Josh Brolin will reprise his role as Thanos, a figure who has lurked in the shadows of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2012's The Avengers, pulling the strings of Loki, the Chitauri and Ronan the Accuser before stepping out into the open in his quest to gather the Infinity Stones. Infinity War will bring the Mad Titan into direct conflict with the Avengers and their allies, including the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man.
