Promotional posters for Avengers: Infinity War have surfaced online, showcasing the threat of Thanos and his general Proxima Midnight.
The first poster, spotted on Rakuten, juxtaposes a huge shot of Thanos' face on one side with some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's heroes that will oppose him on the other. The heroes seen here include Thor, Iron-Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, all of the Guardians of the Galaxy except Drax, Black Widow, Black Panther and -- last but not least -- Steve Rogers. Notably, Thor doesn't wear an eyepatch in this poster, as he did following the events of Thor: Ragnarok.
The second image (via reddit) features Proxima Midnight on what appears to be toy packaging. Steve Rogers, Spidey and Iron-Man also appear on their own separate packages. In the MCU, Proxima Midnight is one of the "children of Thanos" (and "sister" to Gamora and Nebula), who will be tasked with helping the villain attain all the Infinity Stones for his Infinity Gauntlet.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film opens May 4.
