Whether you're slaving away in the kitchen baking gingerbread cookies and pies, braving the traffic as you race home or storming through crowded malls to get the last of your gift shopping done, the holiday season is about to reach its peek in just a few short days. Everyone knows that Christmas means drinking spiked eggnog with loved ones,  and exchanging gifts and warm wishes -- but no matter what your family traditions are, there is one that we can all agree on looking forward to: the Christmas movie marathons.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation? That's a good one. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas? A must see. Elf? An unavoidable classic. But now, nothing else will even come close to compare to the next film in your holiday binge. Yes, in case you've forgotten amid all the holiday craze, Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War will finally begin streaming on Netflix on Christmas Day.

As the bell tolls at midnight on Christmas Eve, toys and goodies will not be the only thing that Santa Claus delivers around the globe this year. The biggest superhero film of the year, Avengers: Infinity War, will finally be available for streaming in the comfort of your own home at 12:01 am PT and 3:01 am ET.

Sure, Avengers: Infinity War may not take place at Christmas time, feature any sort of decorated tree, lights or presents, but it does deliver everything you could want in a yuletide celebration. It's spectacular, exciting, funny and heartbreaking. And what's Christmas without some laughs, some thrill, some cheer and a few tears?

Any Marvel Cinematic Universe fan will agree that the wait for Avengers: Endgame is an excruciating one, but perhaps this Christmas present from Netflix and Marvel will be enough to calm everyone down. Now, after you've finished unwrapping your presents and eating a comforting meal, you'll be able to sit around the living room with your entire family and watch as the Avengers fight a desperate, losing battle against the Mad Titan. Thanos is certainly no Santa Claus, but his universe-wide gift of coal dust will once again get you all wondering how Earth's Mightiest Heroes will be able to defeat the villain and save the universe when Endgame comes around.

The Christmas spirit may be able to bring us all together, but the only thing that can bring us even closer than that is theorizing about what exactly will happen in the final Avengers movie. Sure, it may lead to some heated arguments between family members, but it could also bring a bittersweet sense of comfort and joy.

Do yourself a favor this holiday season, and add Avengers: Infinity War to your Christmas movie marathon. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
