Avengers: Infinity War First Reactions Declare Thanos the MVP

The Marvel Studios blockbuster 10 years in the making, Avengers: Infinity War, premiered Monday night in Hollywood, CA, just days before the film is slated to assemble in theaters nationwide. Naturally, it didn't take long after social media embargoes were lifted for those lucky enough to be in attendance to begin flooding the Internet with their reactions, and while it hardly comes as a surprise, the response has been almost universally positive.

Overall, the biggest takeaway seems to be that Josh Brolin’s take on the Mad Titan Thanos is the highlight of the film. This, of course, should come as a relief, as Marvel hasn’t had the best track record when it comes to on-screen antagonists, save for Loki and Killmonger.
