Avengers: Infinity War will see all the heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe unite to face off against Thanos and some new promotional material from Russia has revealed a couple of surprise faces in the mix.
Courtesy of ComicBookMovie, the artwork from a Disney conference features deceased characters, namely the Ancient One and Yondu. The images also feature the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy members we'd expect to see such as a bearded Captain America, an electrified Thor, a blonde Black Widow and Spider-Man in his new suit, but these two additions are pretty interesting given that they're, well, dead!
The Ancient One died at the hands of Kaecilius in Doctor Strange while Yondu perished saving Star Lord from Ego in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. This could hint at flashbacks in the Russo Bros.' movie but with the Infinity Gauntlet also allowing the wielder to shape reality, who knows, maybe a few resurrections could be in the cards. But it's likely that these images are just to show the entire scope of the MCU and its heroes in order to prep for the Mad Titan on his quest to collect all the Infinity Stones and rule the cosmos.
