The day is nearly here: Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters on Friday (with preview screenings starting on Thursday night), the Marvel Studios film that's literally a decade in the making -- paying off storylines first seen back in 2008's original Iron Man, and finally showcasing the full might of Thanos, who was first glimpsed in the post-credits scene of 2012's The Avengers.
The film has been famously declared as the most ambitious crossover event in history, featuring the Avengers, Guardians of he Galaxy, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange.
