Whether preparing for his role as Cable in Deadpool 2 or readying to battle Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Infinity War, actor Josh Brolin continues to take to Instagram to tease his next two comic book gigs. The latest is a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into bringing Thanos, the Mad Titan, to life on the big screen.
In recent months, Brolin has been busy teasing his training for Cable, a fan-favorite mutant that is set to join the highly-anticipated sequel to Deadpool. However, in between preparing for that role, Brolin has also been at work on Infinity War, the film that is set to take Thanos from a background character to the main character as he readies to take on the Avengers and the Guardians over the Infinity Stones. And now, in a new photo posted to Instagram earlier today, Brolin showed off the tracking dots that he sports for the motion-capture work required to bring the Titan to life.
Filming on Infinity War is expected to continue throughout the remainder of the year.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War boasts a sprawling ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. The film arrives in theaters May 4, 2018, with the untitled sequel opening May 3, 2019.
