Despite being confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War, Hawkeye has been noticeably absent from the film's marketing thus far -- not having been included in either trailer or the twelve separate covers recently unveiled for Entertainment Weekly. In fact, the actor wasn't even credited on the film's poster that Marvel unveiled alongside the trailer, leading many to question where the fan-favorite archer is and why he's being left out of marketing. Unfortunately, while we don't have a definite answer, for those that are mourning the lack of Hawkeye in Infinity War's marketing, some fans have opted to revise the film's poster by including plenty of Hawkeye.RELATED: Yes, Avengers: Infinity War Is Already Breaking Sales Records

While Hawkeye isn't the only hero missing from the marketing -- Ant-Man has been absent for the most part, too -- it's a bit odd that one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's founding Avengers has been left out of everything relating to Infinity War. Especially since the archer reportedly has a "special" role in the film. Of course, with the still untitled fourth Avengers film still to come, it's possible Clint's role in Infinity War may be small -- explaining the lack of credit on the poster -- leading to a much larger role in the next film. For now, we can at least enjoy these fan posters that ensure we have plenty of Hawkeye.
