A very public shaming from a genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist might deter any regular person from playing arcade games on the job, but not The Avengers' Galaga guy. Despite the public shaming from Tony Stark, Galaga guy continued to play the classic arcade game even six years later, and was playing it during the ending of Avengers: Infinity War.

In an interview with Uproxx, co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo were asked about the fate of Galaga guy after Thanos obtained all six Infinity Stones and performed his life-snuffing snap. Unfortunately, like half the universe, he didn't make it. "He got snapped in the middle of a Galaga game," Joe Russo said. "He was seconds away from his all-time high score. He's gone."

If it's any consolation to Galaga guy, he went out doing what he loved and while performing at his all-time best, which is more than some other casualties of Thanos can say.

In theaters now, Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin, among others.
