Infinity War has already seen its release date pushed forward to April, meaning the marketing campaign is in full swing for the MCU's 19th movie. Gathering the likes of Hulk and Thor after Ragnarok, Spider-Man after Homecoming, and the rest of the characters following the climactic battle of Civil War, it will be a major plot point to see how the various factions come together.

Notably, the bios have a focus on Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, sporting her blonde look. It sounds as if Natasha Romanoff has been on the run after losing the support of her government when the Avengers disbanded. Elsewhere, Black Widow's possible love interest the Incredible Hulk will be using all his might to take down Thanos, but we are still yet to see how he gets split from Thor following the finale of Ragnarok.

Speaking of which, Thor is struggling to earn his place in the galaxy following the destruction of his mighty hammer and his home world of Asgard, but the bio teases that it won't stop him going head to head with Thanos. Finally, rounding off the roster, there is a better look at Peter Parker's Iron Spider outfit, but still no information on how long after the end of Homecoming it is until he is forced to wear his new piece of Stark technology.

Obviously, missing from the pack are big names like Doctor Strange, Iron Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy, but the trailers have teased that all will play a big part in the battle with the Mad Titan. The site also reveals where Captain America's clandestine missions have taken him since throwing down his Vibranium shield, and what motives Thanos really has. Despite being teased since the end of The Avengers, audiences still know relatively nothing about Infinity War's big villain, but are promised to find out a lot more about Thanos and his Black Order in the superhero ensemble.

Given that the likes of Thor, Hulk and Spider-Man played up the comedy elements in their recent outings, it will be interesting to see how this balances with their personal issues highlighted in their bios and will come into play with the greater stakes of Avengers: Infinity War.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 27.
