The Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes assemble in Avengers Forever, a new series spinning out of Jason Aaron's current Avengers title.

The description of the series reads, "Marvel Comics' Avengers Forever pulls together archeologist Tony Stark aka the Invincible Ant-Man and Avengers from across the multiverse to bring order to timelines where 'hope' is a four letter word. Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder present an all-new series that will redefine the Avengers as…the Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes."

While no graphics besides the Avengers Forever logo were provided, the mention of a Tony Stark variant that became an archeologist instead of an inventor, and Ant-Man instead of Iron Man lets readers know just how different the Avengers from across the multiverse will be.

Marvel is jumping feet first into the multiverse in both the comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The introduction of a Kang variant in Loki, along with the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reveal how important alternate timelines and dimensions will be to storytelling going forward in the MCU. As for the comics, Free Comic Book Day: Avengers/Hulk #1 teased an individual named Avenger Prime monitoring the multiverse in the God Quarry.

Readers also were also granted a first look at the Multiversal Masters of Evil, a collection of various villains that will torment Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers #50/750 later this year.

Avengers Forever by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder arrives in December.
