The many looks of Black Widow get a special showcase on an upcoming variant cover for Avengers Forever.Taking to Twitter, fan-favorite Marvel artist Russell Dauterman unveiled his art for the second issue of Avengers Forever. Dauterman will be drawing variants for the series, which focuses on a team of Avengers that come together from different universes. His line of covers captures the many different looks worn by the various Avengers over the years as well as the multiversal premise of the title itself. After a magical Scarlet Witch-themed cover for the book's December debut issue, the deadly designs of the Black Widow will be featured on Avengers Forever #2.RELATED: Kelly Thompson's Substack Deal Won't Affect Black Widow, Captain Marvel

The cover details 18 distinct depictions of Natasha Romanoff, A.K.A. Black Widow. Amongst the fabulous looks captured are her original costume, her Ultimates design, the white attire worn in this year's Black Widow film and her current outfit as designed by artist Elena Casagrande. Dauterman, who created many of the high-fashion Hellfire Gala costumes worn by the X-Men earlier this year, also drew similarly themed variants for titles such as Inferno, S.W.O.R.D., Hellions and Excalibur.

Avengers Forever is an ongoing series that follows a new team of heroes from different realities, similar to What If...?'s Guardians of the Multiverse. The book is written by Jason Aaron and drawn by Aaron Kuder and features a mix of familiar heroes like Robbie Reyes as the All-New Ghost Rider along with new creations like Tony Stark as Ant-Man. Additionally, Avengers Forever will bring Captain Carter to the comics.

Avengers Forever will be spinning out of the events of Avengers #50, which doubles as a celebration of 750 issues of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Regular series writer Jason Aaron will be joined by Christopher Ruocchio for the oversized comic, which will be drawn by Kuder, Carlos Pacheco, Ed McGuinness, Javier Garrón and Steve McNiven. In it, the Avengers face off against the Multiversal Masters of Evil, a team of villains that made their attentions to conquer all realities known in Free Comic Book Day: Avengers/Hulk #1 over the summer.

In addition to her appearances in Avengers-related titles, Natasha has been busy fighting her own past in the pages of Black Widow. Recent issues of that book have seen the Soviet super-spy build a new team composed of the young hero Marigold, her sister Yelena Belova and Spider-Girl to protect the city of San Francisco. Despite the team's inexperience and Natasha's secretive nature, they have proven to be effective, and have taken down a number of deadly mercenaries and assassins. However, with tensions risings amongst the ranks of her supporting cast, it might be time for Black Widow to take a cue from the cover of Avengers Forever #2 and start thinking about aligning herself with some alt-reality variants.
