Avengers: Endgame was a big movie, jam-packed with big moments. One of the movie's most talked about moments was the A-Force scene, where several of the film's female heroes teamed up for a brief period of time. Apparently, that scene almost played out differently.

The Avengers: Endgame artbook talks about a very different scene. Jackson Sze revealed that the A-Force moment was supposed to revolve around the ladies helping an injured Captain Marvel.

Sze said that after Captain Marvel took a direct hit from the cannons on Thanos' ship, Rescue came to aid her. Then, several other ladies came to form a circle around Captain Marvel. With that time she was granted, Carol powered up and took out the massive ship.

Although the A-Force name wasn't mentioned in the movie, it is the name of an all female Avengers group in the comics. Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson, who play Captain Marvel and Valkyrie respectively, have mentioned that they'd be interested in having a A-Force spin-off film.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film is available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD
