With the release of Avengers: Endgame now only 10 days away, Marvel has released a new extended television spot to kick off the countdown.

Clocking in at nearly two and a half minutes, this trailer does feature footage from Endgame -- but very, very little. Instead, the brief sequences from the upcoming film bookend an extended look at all of the movies that comprise the Marvel Cinematic Universe, from 2008's Iron Man to March's Captain Marvel.

The trailer starts by showcasing the MCU's trinity, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and Thor, complete with footage and voiceovers from their respective solo films that highlight their biggest strengths and qualities. Then, it's on to the other superheroes, from the Guardians of the Galaxy to Doctor Strange and Black Panther to Captain Marvel. of course.

After this, however, the video launches into an epic edit of every single MCU movie, featuring both the films' titles and brief footage. The films are presented in order of their release, starting with Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, respectively. However, the only alteration to the slate comes near the end, when Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel are both featured before Avengers: Infinity War, despite the ensemble film releasing before either of them.

This illustrates the incredible journey these characters, as well as the audience, have been on, and it hammers home the notion that Endgame will be the end of an era that began 11 years ago.

Finally, the video concludes with a bit of new footage from Endgame, which primarily features the Avengers in their new team suits gearing up for a mysterious mission.
